1984 Ford Falcon XE
Steve Masterton’s Group C 1984 Ford Falcon XE. Built for the 1984 Australian Touring Car Championship (ATCC), this Ford Falcon XE was a real head turner.
The iconic XE was the mastermind of fabrication genius John Skola and renowned engine builder, Pat Purcell.
Its final outing was Baskerville Raceway, Tasmania on November 25th 1984, where it set a lap record of 56.80 seconds.
Upon the demise of Group C competition, the car was purchased by John Skola, where it sat for 39 years.
The car has since been purchased back by Masterton Motorsports and ready to undergo restoration, with even the slightest detail returning to its original glory. Follow our social channels for live updates and more information on this historic journey.
